SB 644 Tax Credit - Marine Trade Properties - Authorizes local govenments to pass laws granting a tax credit for businesses on the waterfront that are engaged in marine trades.  This is similar to legislation that passed last year, granting a tax credit for waterfront businesses engaged in commercial fisheries.  As defined under the legislation, marinas, fisheries, and related boating facilities would qualify as marine trades.  Status: PASSED - Effective June 1, 2009
